Federico Epis "Davinci" EP Available Now:
Way before Sasha hammered Federico's now legendary "Brasilia" on his August 2007 Essential Mix from Ibiza on Radio 1, we at Pangea knew about Federico's unlimited potential. In fact, Federico was commissioned to do a remix for Pangea Digital when the label first started a couple of years back. Over time, we have watched this man from Uruguay's sound evolve into a very unique fusion of electo laden Progressive Electro House that has won over the hearts and minds of DJs and dance music fans everywhere. Thirty some releases later, Federico's sound has matured into something very special that most artists only dream. Indeed, it is true that one DJ playing your song at the right time and place can take your career places you never thought. "Brasilia" was signed by Dave Seaman's Audiotherapy label a couple of weeks after Sasha played it on BBC's Radio 1, and Federico shortly went on to sign EPs with dance music bohemoths Global Underground and Mashtronic shortly thereafter. Federico also had the honor of getting Anthony Pappa to remix one of his tracks for another well known label recently, only the second time in ten years Anthony Pappa has ever wished to remix anything. Proudly, we present to you Federico's "Davinci" EP. The Original Mix of "Davinci" has Federico's trademark intelligent electro progressive sound which whips you through an epic dancefloor journey, while Peter Juergens provides a more minimal interpretation with beautiful, haunting chords, great efx, and a chunky bassline to match. Native "Mood" EP Available Now:
Native has had an excellent year. This Australian has made a great name for himself by simply working hard and gaining the respect of his peers with his beautiful and melodic progressive sound. Major labels such as Global Underground, Babylon, and Segment have recognized his talent and have signed him for either mix compilation CDs or have released one of his EPs. We are proud to present Native's second release on our label, his Mood EP.
The Mood EP signifies Native's love for downtempo yet progressive electronic music. The Original Mix is what Native is all about: fusing intelligent melodies and lush synths with downtempo beats to make a very dynamic track. friskyRecords launched its first release with a mix compilation by world-renowned DJ/producer and friskyRadio resident DJ Pole Folder - 'Destinations.' Based on his radio show of the same name, its a showcase for Pole Folder's DJ sets and live performance talents and delivers a compact vision of his DJ skills and choice in music, just as you were with him in the same club. Pangea is proud to announce the inclusion of one of its own on the CD. Congrats to Chad Cisneros, as his remix of Andy Moor and Michael Wilson's "Control Me," which will be out soon on Pangea Digital, was included.
